A five-day meditation course north of Bangkok. Practise at dawn and in the evening, learn the method and the mechanism of the mind in the morning talks, and bring what is stuck in your practice to the meditation clinic in the afternoons.
Five days in Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani, built around three parts. You practise in the early morning and in the evening. In the late morning there is a talk on the technique of practice and on the mechanism of the mind. In the afternoon there is a meditation clinic: you write down how your practice went and what got in the way, and you receive advice on what to do about it.
You leave with a method you understand, not only one you have tried — and with answers to the problems you actually met.
The course is open to beginners and to those who already practise. Teaching is in English.
We charge only for food: three meals a day at 1,000 THB a day. For the five days that is 5,000 THB. Your room and the teaching carry no charge.
Yes, really. The project pays for the rooms itself. We would simply like you to come and practise, and to find the happiness that comes from within.
If you wish to support the project, you are welcome to give whatever you like — together with your registration, or at the centre during the course. There is no expected amount, and please do not feel obliged in any way.
Choose the course that suits you. Each course is five days, with arrival the afternoon before and departure the morning after.
A course needs at least 5 participants. If fewer register, we look at each case — sometimes a small group can still go ahead in a smaller room. If your course has to move, we will tell you ourselves, and you can then choose on WhatsApp: move to another course, a refund, or a donation. So if you are sure you will come, please register now — it helps the course go ahead.

Full-moon holy days. If a course ever includes a full-moon holy day, the teacher has duties at the temple that morning: the morning is your own practice and rest, and the talk is held together with the meditation clinic in the afternoon. The course card shows it when it applies — none of the 2027 courses does.
For now the courses are held at the Bhavanarak Club, a meditation centre in Khlong Sam, Khlong Luang, which kindly lends us its place. This is a temporary home while our own place, Vimutti Valley, is being planned. The compound has a large air-conditioned practice hall, rooms for staying, a dining room, a kitchen and a laundry.
Every room has air conditioning. Rooms are shared and come in several sizes — 2, 3 or 4 beds — and are arranged by gender. Some rooms are on the ground floor and some on the floor above. Rooms are allocated before the course; if stairs are difficult for you, tell us in the form and we will do our best to give you a ground-floor room.

Vimutti Valley is the place we are planning as the long-term home of these courses: a quiet site in Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok, with a meditation hall, a library, a dining hall and the VV Cafe — fresh coffee, and vegetarian food for those who cannot eat the meals provided.
Instead of shared rooms, each practitioner will have a small house of their own, set among gardens and paths, so the stay is far more private and the practice can go deeper.
The pictures here are an early, incomplete draft of the design — much is still to be revised. The land has not been bought yet — we are waiting for supporters who wish to help, and the planning continues. Meanwhile we have started the courses at a borrowed place, so that the practice does not have to wait.

Early concept design by MOOD, September 2026. Incomplete — much will change; the water in front of the hall will become a straight garden path to the hall. More at vimuttivalley.com.
A few simple agreements keep the place quiet for everyone.
Inside any building your phone is switched off. If you need to use it, step outside the building and use it there.
You may stay in a room here, or book your own hotel nearby and come in each day for the whole day of practice, then return to your hotel in the evening. You arrange your own transport. Even when the rooms here are full, you can still join this way.
The fee is 1,000 THB a day for every participant, whether you eat here or not. Meals are ordered for the whole group in advance.
We welcome up to two volunteers per course. Volunteers pay nothing, and meals are included. You stay only for the dates of the course you help with — the place is lent to us for those dates, so we cannot offer stays before or after. To apply, message us on WhatsApp with a photo of yourself, a few lines about you (where you live, what you do, what you studied), the photo page of your passport, and the course you would like to help with. Volunteers do not use the registration form.
Photos, feedback and interviews. Photos are taken during the course, so agreeing to their use is part of registering. At the end, everyone fills in a short questionnaire on their experience. A video interview about your practice and progress is never assumed — we ask each person privately, and only those who are happy to do it take part.
